Our Story
Dreamlawns was founded in April 1996 by husband and wife team, Mike and Cyndee Ford. Mike brought a strong management background and work ethic from the grocery industry, while Cyndee contributed her creativity and sales expertise. Their determination, collaboration, and perseverance led to the creation of Dreamlawns. Initially, the company provided a full range of lawn maintenance, landscaping, and lawn care services. However, as time passed, Mike and Cyndee discovered their true passion for turf health, leading Dreamlawns to narrow its focus to lawn care management, outdoor pest control, and tree and shrub health.
Since its inception, Mike was a key figure in the lawn care community, known for his collaboration with industry professionals, his support for peers, and his forward-thinking approach. Mike’s untimely passing in June 2019 left a profound impact on all who knew him.
Today, Dreamlawns continues to thrive under the leadership of Cyndee and Mike’s eldest son, Tyler, who are dedicated to honoring Mike’s legacy. Tyler’s wife, Britt, leads the friendly and knowledgeable office team. Committed to excellence, the Dreamlawns team remains focused on delivering exceptional customer service, tailored lawn care solutions, and fostering community collaboration to advance the industry.
