Round 1: January 1 – March 1

Liquid Application Fertilizer: Promotes dark green healthy turf and encourage development of a deep root system.

Crab Grass Preventer with Broadleaf herbicides for: Perennial and winter annual weeds not controlled in the fall and over-seed thin spots if needed.

Round 2: March 1 – May 1

Liquid Application Fertilizer: Promotes dark green healthy turf and encourage development of a deep root system.

Crab Grass Preventer with Broadleaf herbicides for: Perennial and winter annual weeds not controlled in the fall and over-seed thin spots if needed.

Apply insecticides (as needed for 1st signs of insects, extra cost).

Round 3: May 2 – June 16

Liquid Fertilization: Light application with natural fertilizers, guards against summer heat stress.

Post Emergent Broadleaf herbicides for: Summer weeds

Apply fungicides (as needed for disease, extra cost).

Round 4: June 17- August 1

Liquid Fertilization: Light application with natural fertilizers, guards against summer heat stress.

Post Emergent Broadleaf herbicides for: Summer weeds.

Apply fungicides (as needed for disease, extra cost).

Round 5: August 10- September 19

Pre-Seed weed controls; apply glyphosate (in August-if trying to kill Bermuda grass) to prepare for seeding.

Fertilization: Timed release granular fertilizer for development of deep root system.

Round 6: September 20- October 31

Fertilization: Timed release granular fertilizer for development of deep root system.

Broadleaf weed control (as needed).

Over-Seed any noticed thin areas (if aeration and seeding was done).

Round 7: November 1- December 31

Fertilization: Timed release granular fertilizer for development of deep root system.

Broadleaf weed control (as needed).

Over-Seed any noticed thin areas (if aeration and seeding was done).
